UFC 301 fight week is upon us. The promotion is in Brazil for his week’s ESPN+ streaming pay-per-view card. In the evening’s main event, UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja puts his title on the line against fast-rising contender Steve Erceg. UFC 301 takes place on Saturday, May 4, at Farmasi Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The main card streams on ESPN+ PPV following prelims on ESPN2 and early prelims on UFC Fight Pass. Alexandre Pantoja made his UFC debut in January 2017. At the time, the Brazilian sported a 17-2 record. In late 2014, Pantoja won the RFA flyweight title. Then in the summer of 2015 he became the inaugural AXS TV Flyweight Superfight champion when he submitted Legacy FC 125-pound champion Damacio Page. Pantoja did not participate in an “official” MMA fight again until he made his UFC debut in January 2017. However, between his win over Page and his first fight under the UFC banner, Pantoja was involved in The Ultimate Fighter: Tournament of Champions reality program, where he made it to the semifinals before losing to Hiromasa Ougikubo.EarlyPrelims – 6.00PM ET
